Phil and I went on a “surprise” date today to the National Harbor. Even though we live relatively close to it, we’ve never been to it because it is out of our way from Baltimore, and it’s a little more than half an hour to get there. Anywho, today was a lovely day outside, the sun was shining and it was warm but breezy (actually, I was really cold because of the wind, but that’s another story…). We had such a great time, such a great date! And we only spent $7!!
National Harbor’s best store: the Peeps store.. Seriously. It’s so pretty! and fun! I will post up pictures later when I find my cord to import my pictures onto the PC but here is a mini version of a picture I really liked:

I also went on a date with Sang.. originally planned to go to Yogiberry but it was closed… so we went to Ten Ren’s instead. We had a much needed conversation and I loved every minute! I <3 you girl! Anyways, we had Shave Ice with Strawberry and Condensed Milk… kinda like Korean bingsoo? And it was SO good! Yumyumyum…

Till next time.. hopefully, I’ve found the cord by then… :x
I haven’t written on here in days, I’ve been feeling guilty. Haha, is that healthy?
Anyways, I’ve been super busy studying for my midterms, and hopefully, I did well on them. I am only worried about my Political Science exam. Speaking of which, my PoliSci professor is Dr. Tom Schaller… he is actually pretty widely known in the government/political world. He has been on The Colbert Report (lovelovelove Stephen Colbert, btw) and he has written a book about the past election. I would like to share the good news that I got an 84% on my Math exam… yes, kudos to me. I was so proud of myself!
On another note— I’ve been ticked off at certain situations where people talk to me, or in fact, indirectly to/about me, about how I am basically “ungrateful”. I absolutely despise that word when it is used about me because that is nowhere near the truth. I am well aware what I am given and I am always thankful for whatever I do or do not receive. So people, if you’re one of those people who think I am spoiled in any way I would like to take a minute and say: I am fortunate yes, and just because I don’t announce to the whole damn universe everyday that I am super thankful and grateful, does not mean I am not. Take a moment and reflect on your own lives before you judge other peoples. Do not think you are better than anyone because of your experiences, God gave you those experiences not to boast or put down others… Be proud of your achievements and help others instead of comparing and thinking you’re the next Dalai Lama…
Now that I got that off my chest, I cannot wait for my highly anticipated Spring Break to start already. I am dreading being in the house with my family but then again I miss them because I haven’t seen them in a month!
